The Role
Full-Time Contractor | ÂŁ2000-3200 per month (can be negotiable dependant on experience)

As our CRO Specialist, you’ll take the lead on planning, executing, and managing conversion optimization programs for a portfolio of Shopify clients. You’ll identify growth opportunities, design and launch split tests, analyse results, and work closely with our founder, designers, and developers to deliver measurable profit improvements.
This is a client-facing role where you’ll own CRO strategy end-to-end while also contributing to our internal growth. You’ll be both strategic and hands-on, from customer research and offer creation to A/B test deployment and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Weekly Planning & Client Management
  • Plan and prioritise your week with clear milestones for each client.
  • Manage CRO programs delivering 2–6 tests per month per client.
  • Ensure all tests and landing pages are designed, approved, and ready for development on schedule.
  • Test Design & Copywriting
  • Create strategy and copy yourself where needed, & collaborate with our designers and developers.
  • Maintain message and offer congruency across the store and marketing funnel based off ads and customer research.
  • Strategy & Collaboration
  • Work with the Founder, Head of CRO, designers, and developers on test strategies.
  • Communicate with clients in Slack to get approvals, request assets, and update progress.
  • Analysis & Learning
  • Analyse results from every test, win or lose, and feed learnings into future experiments.
  • Audit Shopify dashboards, analytics, and customer feedback to uncover opportunities.
  • Customer Research
  • Run post-purchase surveys, on-site polls, and customer interviews to uncover insights.
  • Use review mining and qualitative research to guide copy, design, and UX changes.
  • Process-Driven Execution
  • Follow documented SOPs and watch Loom training videos to ensure consistent quality.
  • Join weekly CRO calls to share wins, ideas, and insights.
  • Deep Optimisation Work
  • Conduct audits to identify friction points in product pages, checkout flows, and landing pages.
  • Use A/B testing tools, heatmaps, and analytics to optimise key conversion points.
How will you be interacting with the team 👥
We keep communication open, structured, and human. You’ll always know what’s going on, get the training you need, and have plenty of chances to connect with the team, whether it’s in a strategy session or over a Friday laugh.
Slack:
Our main hub for all team communication. You’ll use it to get quick answers, collaborate on tasks, and stay connected. Some team members may be more active here than others depending on their role.
Tuesday CRO Syncs:
Our dedicated weekly CRO call. This is where we align on active client accounts, review KPIs, share new insights, and discuss any blockers. It’s also the space to share wins and make sure we’re on track with milestones.
Wednesday CRO Training:
Structured training sessions for CRO, Insights, Research, and UX (CRO) specialists. Led by our Head of CRO, these calls focus on upskilling, process refinement, and levelling up our client results.
Thursday CRO Syncs:
A focused team sync for CRO specialists to align on research findings, test ideas, and client strategies. This ensures insights are being used effectively across all accounts.
Friday Coffee & Craic Calls:
Our most relaxed call of the week. No client talk unless we want to, just chit chat, talk about weekend plans, play games now and then, and enjoy each other’s company.
Monthly Team Calls:
Once a month, we bring the whole agency together to share client wins, team wins, updates, and what’s coming next. This is about alignment, celebration, and keeping everyone connected.
Quarterly Goals & Objectives:
Every quarter we set both team-wide and business-level goals. This keeps everyone focused on the big picture and how their work drives company growth.
ClickUp (Project Management):
Tasks live in ClickUp. If you need to communicate about a specific task, comment directly on it so the right people get notified and the conversation stays in context.

Skills & Experience
  • 3+ years CRO experience in an agency environment (Shopify focus preferred).
  • Deep understanding of funnels, offers, and ad-to-site congruency.
  • Proven track record in A/B testing with strong grasp of testing methodology.
  • Experience with analytics tools (GA4, heatmaps, user recordings).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and client-facing experience.
  • Passion for CRO and eCommerce.
  • Bonus: Design, copywriting, or front-end development skills.

For a lot of our clients we charge flat fees and I think it's important you can have that opportunity if you're bringing a lot of value to the table.
ITB & OTB + 90/10
This is a very important role and you can become a key member of the company! We would want you to spend 90% of your time working in the business, also known as “ITB”. 👷‍♀️
The remaining 10% of your time is for helping discover how your superpowers can play into your role progression and also how you can help the growth and efficiency of the company!
We call this 10% working on this business, also known as “OTB”. For this role this could be systems thinking, team structure, reporting etc. 🦸

Compensation Increases 💸
Again we don’t have a cookie-cutter pathway here like a big corporation but we do offer bonuses every 6 months based on performance and KPIs. This helps us keep a pulse on the impact everyone has on the company's growth.
We do our best to measure the impact each team member has on the bottom line & give raises accordingly.
We also have bonus structures based on how long you’re with the company, after 18 months, 3 years and 5 years.
This is more of an appreciation bonus for being a part of PM Digital! 🙏
Working Hours ⏰
Working days are Monday to Friday but there are no strict working hours as long as you are primarily in the UK timezone but we are flexible as we deal with mostly USA clients) we try to maintain a performance-based culture!
We’re very flexible with working hours, most of us step away for a coffee or a lunchtime gym session in the middle of the day. We just ask that you’re always able to be reached during normal business hours.
We have team members in different time zones so it’s important we have a cross-over in working hours, it’s also important that you message when you’re first online so the team know when you’ve started work.
**We simply ask that you don’t abuse the privileges of working remotely & that you're working.
Time away from work 🏝
All time off is paid time off! 🥳
  • For days off, you just give notice so we can plan around it and you can take any time off you wish as long as the work gets done… You just can’t take long holidays in the lead-up to Black Friday and Q4 as we need all hands on deck! 🛳
  • We always recommend travelling and taking time to “refresh & re-charge!”
